Update from GitLab main
Update application source and rebuild Docker Compose services.
English
简体中文This project is maintained on the main branch of GitLab. Updates are pulled manually from the origin remote. No automatic upstream synchronization is configured.
Before updating
Save local changes and back up the database while PostgreSQL is running:
mkdir -p ../wrdo-backups
docker compose exec -T postgres pg_dump -U wrdo wrdo > ../wrdo-backups/wrdo-backup-$(date +%Y%m%d-%H%M%S).sqlKeep .env and database backups private. Do not overwrite .env with the template when updating; add any new required settings separately.
Pull and rebuild
git switch main
git pull --ff-only origin main
docker compose up -d --build
docker compose ps -a
docker compose logs --tail=100 app migrate--ff-only stops when local and remote histories diverge. Resolve the differences before continuing. The migrate service applies pending database migrations and normally exits with code 0; app starts only after it succeeds.
NEXT_PUBLIC_* changes require a rebuild. If changing ports, update APP_PORT, NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_URL, and AUTH_URL together. See the deployment guide for first-time installation.
